We started with the grains, where we saw a slight dip across the board. Corn prices for May were down by approximately 2 to 2.5 cents, while beans experienced a 3 to 3.5 cent drop. Wheat also saw a decline, with Chicago wheat down by 5 cents, KC wheat by 6 cents, and Minneapolis wheat by about 4 cents.
Switching gears to the livestock sector, there was a bit of optimism as fat cattle prices were up by around 45 cents, and feeders saw a significant increase of almost $2. This movement suggested some strength in the livestock complex, which we'll continue to monitor to see if it holds.
